Every Citizen Quartz, Eco-Drive and Promaster watch purchased is accompanied by a Five Year Limited Warranty valid from the date of purchase. Included in the first year of this Warranty is a one year International Guarantee.
If the watch exhibits a defect in workmanship or material that is not a major failure, Citizen will, at its option, either regulate, adjust, repair, or replace the movement, as necessary within a reasonable time after the watch is returned during the warranty period. We recommend a Citizen Watch in need of service be taken to a CITIZEN authorised service centre. Any damage caused by repairs or alterations by unauthorised technicians may void your warranty.
For watches sent in under warranty, Citizen commits to repair within 4-6 weeks of receipting your watch into our repair centre, should the spares be readily available. If the spares are to be order / manufactured from the suppliers, this could take up to 3 months dependant on production turnaround times.
For watches sent in outside of the warranty period, Citizen will provide a written quotation for the repair job. Upon acceptance of the final quotation, Citizen will commence the repair process with the aim of completing the repair as soon as possible, but is contingent on parts availability.
Watch repairs take anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks. If we need to source parts from other countries, lead time is 4-6 weeks. There is no cost involved in checking or assessing your watch.
